The last of four scheduled workshops to help people become familiar with the Solarize Mukilteo program is tonight at the Rosehill Community Center.
The free workshop, which begins at 6 p.m., is a chance for people to get questions answered and to learn more about the program, where Mukilteo residents are being encouraged to learn more about solar energy and how they can band together to save electricity and money.
Those who attend the workshop are also able to sign up for a free site assessment to see how solar power could work on their property.
Northwest SEED and Snohomish County PUD have been working together on the project, which already has helped install solar panels that have made 8.5 kilowatts of energy to homes in the city.
Appeared in KOMO Communities on October 17, 2012.
